Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) platform, or the

Information We Collect
Pay-As-You-Go Users (Drivers)
When you use our Pay-As-You-Go app or related payment options (SMS or toll-free), we collect only the minimum information necessary to process payments and provide charging session updates:
Name (required for formal, tax-compliant receipt generation and identification)
Email address (required, used to send receipts)
Zip code (required, for regulatory/tax compliance and fraud prevention)
Phone number (optional, used only if you request SMS updates during a session)
We do not collect full billing addresses or create ongoing user profiles for Pay-As-You-Go users at this time.
EVES Platform Users (Admins & Site Owners)
For site owners, operators, or administrators using our EVES charging management platform, we may collect additional information required to establish and manage business accounts, such as:
Name and contact details
Company name and business address
Email address and phone number
Login credentials (username, password)
Operational and site data (e.g., charger location, session reports, pricing settings)
Customer Support & Communications
When you contact DynaChrg by email, phone, or other channels, we may collect:
If you call a toll-free support line, calls may be monitored or recorded for quality and compliance.
Automatically Collected Information:
Session details (time, location, duration, energy delivered, cost)
Technical information (device type, browser, IP address)
We do not collect billing addresses from drivers. Payment details are processed directly by secure third-party providers; we do not store credit card numbers.
How We Use Your Information (Legal Basis for Processing)
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes, based on the identified legal basis (required by GDPR and similar laws):
1. Service Delivery
Drivers (PAYG): To process transactions, place pre-authorization holds, deliver receipts by email, and send optional SMS updates related to a charging session.
Admins & Site Owners (EVES): To provide account access, manage charging operations, configure pricing, and support platform functionality.
2. Customer Communications
To respond to inquiries, provide support, and resolve issues.
To send required notices, such as receipts, policy updates, or service notifications.
3. Business Operations
To monitor service usage, performance, and reliability.
To improve features, plan capacity, and maintain secure and authorized use of our Services.
To conduct internal audits, research, or data analysis (including using IP address for security monitoring and fraud prevention) that supports product development and service enhancements.

To comply with applicable regulations, reporting, and recordkeeping obligations.

How We Share Your Information

Service Providers: With vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processors, SMS gateways, IT hosting providers, and analytics partners (like Google Analytics) to measure site usage.
Charging Partners: With site hosts, utilities, and roaming partners as needed to provide charging access, process billing, and support interoperability.
Business Operations & Affiliates: With our affiliates or business partners where necessary to deliver services, improve reliability, or support legitimate business functions.
Customer Support & Compliance: With vendors who provide customer support, call handling, or security monitoring. If toll-free calls are recorded in the future, those recordings may be shared with service providers for compliance or quality assurance.
Legal & Safety: Where required by law or regulation, in response to valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our users, DynaChrg, or others.
Corporate Transactions: In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, where your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may share anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you, for reporting or analytical purposes.
Note on Selling or Sharing Personal Information: DynaChrg does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our websites and apps use cookies and similar technologies, including services like Google Analytics, to:

We use encryption for data in transit and at rest. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not function properly.
SMS Messaging and Toll-Free Services
SMS messages are used only for session-related updates when you opt in during a charging session. Message and data rates may apply. Frequency is session-based and ends once the charging session concludes.
You can opt out of receiving SMS updates at any time during the session. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Email receipts are required by law and cannot be opted out of.
Toll-free calls may be monitored or recorded in the future if required by our vendor or for compliance purposes. Currently, calls are monitored but not recorded.
Your Privacy Choices and Opt-Out Rights
Depending on your location, and in compliance with laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have rights under applicable law, including the right to:
Access & Portability: Request a copy of your personal information.
Correction: Update or correct inaccuracies.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal or operational requirements, such as retaining receipts for compliance).
Session SMS Opt-Out: Decline SMS updates at the start of a session.
Data Retention
Drivers (Pay-As-You-Go): We retain charging session details and related receipts for as long as necessary to provide the Service and as required by tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Certain technical and transactional data may also be retained for fraud prevention, security monitoring, and compliance purposes.
Admins & Site Owners (EVES): We retain account and business information for as long as your relationship with us is active. After account closure, we may continue to retain records as required by law, contractual obligations, or for legitimate business needs such as audits, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements.
General: We may also retain information in de-identified or aggregated form for research, reporting, or operational purposes. Once data is no longer needed for the purposes outlined above, we will delete or securely anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.
Security
We maintain reasonable and appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel. We also regularly review and enhance our security practices to align with industry standards.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for licensed drivers and are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are under 16, please do not use our Services or submit any personal information.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information in compliance with applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our business practices, or the features of our Services. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy will always indicate the most recent revision.
